What do I need to do when my location is closed?

In case you are not using your Lattiz machine momentarily, we would like to ask you to flush the machine at least once a week, if possible. View the step-by-step instructions in the video.

What do I need to do when I will re-open my location?

If Lattiz has not been used for a while we ask you to follow a number of steps to ensure optimal quality of the milk foam. Please contact your service partner in case the quality of milk foam is not right after these actions. View the step-by-step instructions in the video.

How does the Lattiz solution deliver optimal hygiene? 

Because there is zero contact between the milk product and the machine or person operating the machine to prevent contamination, and by programmed rinses with hot water, to prevent contamination

What does a closed system milk foam solution mean?

We call Lattiz a closed-system  milk foam solution because the milk product is never in contact with the machine or with the person operating the machine. This is possible because of the intelligent, innovative technology in the foaming module.

How come I don’t have to clean Lattiz and it is still hygienic?

No intensive cleaning programs are necessary, because there is no contact with the milk and the machine. The only part in contact with milk is the inside part of the foaming module. This part is automatically cleaned by using hot water at pre-programmed moments.

What is Lattiz?

Lattiz is the smart milk solution for perfect milk foam, designed for professional use. It consists of a machine and a 4L pack, also called a bag-in-box. Once the pack is opened and inserted in the machine, it serves perfect milk foam at the touch of a button. You can adjust the settings completely to your wishes by means of the touchscreen on the machine.

How is the machine cleaned?

Lattiz requires no cleaning due to the patented hygienic system. There's no contact between operator and machine or milk. Every pack comes with a new disposable connector, so that all parts that come in contact with milk foam are replaced. On top of this, before and after every use, the machine flushes so that no residue stays behind. Also, the machine flushes automatically after changing the Lattiz pack and when it has been idle over 45 minutes.

Do I need to turn off the machine at the end of the day?

No, you don't need to turn off the machine at the end of the day. The machine will go into automatic 'sleep mode' and so will consume hardly any energy until you touch it again.
If you plan to close for a longer period, please contact your service partner to close off the machine, and again when re-opening, to keep it working properly.

What about sustainability?

With Lattiz, you reduce milk waste and packaging waste. The pack is recyclable and made from FSC certified carton. Lattiz does not contain any ingredients from GMO origin.

Can I make latte art with Lattiz?

Yes, absolutely! You can adjust the amount of milk and milk foam to your preference and there is a specific 'latte art' setting which provides the perfect basis for you to get creative.

Every Lattiz pack contains 4 litres. In the machine, hot water and air is added to create the perfect milk foam. Depending on your settings, you can make milk foam for up to 140 cappuccinos of 180ml.

How is the Lattiz product produced?

 

Every day, FrieslandCampina collects raw milk from its member dairy farmers and transports it to the factory. In the factory, a high-quality production process concentrates the milk and heats it in a way that preserves the best properties of the milk. This way, the perfect product is made for use in the Lattiz machine and preparation of the best cappuccinos and latte specialties.

How do I put the Lattiz pack in the machine?

When you open a new pack, tear off the flap of carton completely. Pull the spout upward and remove the orange lock. Then, pierce the foaming module, if you prefer, use the piercing tool provided.
Every pack comes with a new disposable connector, so that all parts that come into contact with milk foam are replaced.
To place the pack, you simply open the machine and place the pack with the spout facing downwards.
 Press the front of the spout with your thumb to make sure it is fastened correctly.
Close the coupling by pushing it upwards and close the machine lid.
Now Lattiz is ready for use again.

What are the pack dimensions and weight?

How do I store the Lattiz pack?

Lattiz packs do not need to be cooled at any point.
We recommend storing the pack in a dry place at a temperature between 5°C - 30°C. Recommended usage temperature is between 10-25°C. Avoid higher temperatures to guarantee quality, and also never freeze the pack.

What is the shelf life of the Lattiz pack?

The shelf life of the product depends on your exact location, so always check the expiry date when you've received the pack. When the pack is connected to the machine, the shelf life is 10 days, no cooling necessary.

Are there different types of Lattiz milk solutions?

There is only one 4 litre Lattiz pack which you can use for all your needs.

In the exceptional case that your pack is damaged and it is no longer usable, please contact us.

What is the price of a Lattiz pack?

Lattiz is sold by certified partners across Europe. Your partner can give you with the specific price for the Lattiz pack.

Do I need to remove the Lattiz pack at the end of the day?

No, the product does not have to be removed from the machine at the end of the day, because it can be kept for 10 days in the machine after opening, without cooling.
At the end of the day, put the machine in sleep mode and the next day it will rinse once and be ready for use.

How long can I keep the Lattiz pack inside the machine?

The Lattiz pack can stay in your machine for 10 days without cooling. The machine automatically shows when the Lattiz pack is expired, and it will require you to place a new pack. This way, you never need to worry about expired milk anymore.

What do I do with the empty Lattiz pack?

You can separate the bag from the outer carton box and dispose of them according to the policy of your local area's recycling scheme.

Which allergens does Lattiz contain?

Lattiz contains lactose and milk protein. Lattiz is gluten-free.

Do I need to keep the pack cool?

Lattiz packs do not need to be cooled at any point.

What about sustainability?

How is Lattiz installed?

The Lattiz machine is connected to your power and water supply. The necessary requirements are:

  • Electrical outlet: 230V / 50-60Hz / 2900W / 13A.
  • Requisite water pressure: 1.5 – 6 bar.
  • Water connection: ¾ BSP, installed with a regularly maintained filtering system.

As a new Lattiz customer, how can I place my first Lattiz pack order?

Once you have your Lattiz machine from a certified partner, you can either order directly from them or order through our webshop. Just request a webshop account with your Lattiz partner and you're ready to get started.

What do you mean by "free demo"?

When you book an appointment, we'll visit your location to show you how Lattiz works. This is free of charge and at a time that suits you. The demo takes about 45-60 minutes. After this, we hope you'll be excited by the benefits of Lattiz.

Is there any obligation to buy after the demo?

No, there is not. We're more than happy to show you the benefits of Lattiz. As long as you are a foodservice professional and intend to use Lattiz in your business. The concept is not for in-home (personal) use.

As a private customer, can I also benefit from Lattiz?

The Lattiz concept is designed specially to boost business for foodservice professionals. As the Lattiz pack produces milk foam for approximately 140 cappuccino* and needs to be used within 10 days due to shelf life, it's not well suited for in-home (personal) use.

How can I order from the webshop?

Once you've bought a Lattiz machine from a certified partner, you can either order from them or through our webshop. Just request a webshop account with your Lattiz partner and get started.

Can I track my order?

After you've paid for your order, we'll process it. On the day of shipment, we'll email you a track and trace code. Please note: this is not immediately after confirmation and payment.

I lost my account login details, how do I retrieve them?

If you go to My Lattiz, you can click on "forgot my password". If you fill out your email, we'll send you a new password.

You can only order Lattiz packs in the webshop. (There is only one type of pack to suit all needs). If you have any issues, please let us know via the contact form.

How long does it take before I receive my order?

We aim to deliver your order within 2 working days. However, we work with several partners and so delivery time can vary.

What are the payment options?

In the webshop, you can pay by using the certified payment options which might differ per country (for example invoice, iDeal, Sofort, Klarna).

Is there a minimum order?

The minimum order quantity is 4 Lattiz packs.

Can you guarantee my payment is safe?

We only use certified and safe payment methods, so we can guarantee payment safety.

In case of issues with your foam quality please double check if the Lattiz pack is installed correctly (pierced thoroughly and connected rightly). If you have any queries about the Lattiz pack, we'll be happy to help. Please contact us below.
